At Northcote Manor Farm, we believe the best holidays are the simple ones: mornings that start slowly, with nothing but birdsong and the fresh Devon air; long walks that lead to nowhere in particular; and cosy evenings in. The kind of days that remind you what it feels like to properly switch off.
Our five self-catering cottages are designed to feel like a home from the moment you arrive - comfortable, full of character and cared for, because we want your stay to feel as easy and unhurried as the countryside that surrounds you. Each cottage has been thoughtfully put together with everything you need to settle in, slow down and make yourself completely at home.

The Farm
Dating back to the 16th century, the farm sits within 33 acres of rolling, wooded North Devon hills. It is a place with real history and real character - somewhere that has been part of the landscape for hundreds of years and still feels wonderfully timeless today.
As well as five beautiful cottages arranged around a courtyard, guests have access to a covered children's swimming pool, a games field and a games room for those days when the weather has other ideas. Dogs are welcome, and every cottage has wi-fi, because even in the most peaceful of places, a little connectivity never goes amis.
The Location
Sitting at the edge of the quiet hamlet of Kentisbury, Northcote Manor Farm is far enough away from the world to feel like a true escape, but close enough to everything that matters for the perfect Devon holiday. The picturesque coastal village, Combe Martin, is just four miles away, which also holds various essential amenities. Exmoor National Park is on your doorstep and the beautiful beaches of Woolacombe, Saunton Sands and Croyde are all within a thirty minute drive.
Barnstaple and Ilfracombe are close at hand for everything you need, while the local gastro pubs, the Pyne Arms and the Pack O’ Cards, are just a short drive away.
Families will love the wealth of activities nearby, from the Dinosaur Park to the Lynton and Barnstaple Steam Railway at Parracombe. And for something truly spectacular, the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway, opened in 1890 and the highest, steepest water-powered railway in the world - is an absolute must.
